Everything We Are Learning
MATH - Please click here for the link to see everything we are learning in Math this year. There are 8 standards that are covered in 4 main concepts that are being taught - Numerical Reasoning, Geometric & Spatial Reasoning, Measurement & Data Reasoning, Patterning & Alegebraic Reasoning.
SCIENCE - Students will be learning Weather and Moon Phases; Stars, Planets and Moon; Forecasting the Weather; Role of Organisms and Flow of Energy; Light and Sound; Force and Motion.

Class Party - December 14th, 2023 - 1:15pm
This letter has been sent home and was posted on ClassDojo;
Dear Parents, Caregivers and Guardians,
On Thursday, December 14th, 2022, our class will celebrate a winter break party, in our classroom. It will begin at 1:15 P.M. To help make this party successful, I am asking for your support. Each child is being asked to bring one of the following items. Please check off your item of choice and return this form to your child’s homeroom teacher or text one of our room parents, Mrs. Barry by 11am Wednesday, December 13th. In addition, each child is being asked to bring in a $3 donation, which will be used to buy pizza.
If you have any questions, feel free to text, Mrs. Barry at 470-363-7411. We can also be messaged on Class Dojo.

January School Trips
4th Grade has Two Trips This January!
January 4th, 2024 Trip to Atlanta History Center - no cost.
January 17th, 2024 Trip to The Atlanta Aquarium - $20.00 per student.
School permission slips were sent home after Thanksgiving Break. Please sign and return if you have not already. Also, make your payment via OSP online before December 17th, 2023. We have chaperones and backup chaperones for these trips.
Mid-year Testing
Students have completed their Middle of Year IReady Diagnostic. I have sent home Diagnostic Growth Reports for you to see your Scholars progress.
They will be completing Math Unit 4A (Fraction Operations) by December 14th, 2023.
